Beyoncé isn't the only record setter in her family. In fact her and JAY-Z's youngest daughter, Rumi Carter, recently broke an impressive musical record previously held by their eldest, Blue Ivy Carter.
On her latest album COWBOY CARTER, which has received praise from other music legends like Dolly Parton and Paul McCartney, Rumi, twin to brother Sir Carter, can be heard on the track "Protector" asking her, "Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?" Because of this feature, this makes the 6-year-old the youngest female artists to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, per People.
The record was previously held by Rumi's 12-year-old sister, Blue Ivy, when she was featured on Bey's song "Brown Skinned Girl," from the 2019 Lion King soundtrack, when she was 7-years-old. However, according to Entertainment Tonight, Blue Ivy still holds the title for the youngest artist ever to appear on the Billboard charts after her rap icon dad featured her as a newborn on his 2012 song "Glory."
While Blue Ivy doesn't have any features on Bey's Act II album, she was in the spotlight during her mother's RENAISSANCE tour for Act I, showing off her moves on stage while dancing to "My Power." During the accompanying film, Bey revealed that she originally had reservations of having her oldest daughter perform during the tour.
