Byron's Drive-In had its regulars and fans had favorites. More than the food, Byron's was a spot...a landmark...to meet up or to continue on your adventure!

For food, many cite their Shrimp Burger and for drinks, garens "Green River" tops out the most memorable from their soda fountain!

My memories are mostly at night, following a live music concert at Gussie L'Mours (The Fixx!) or maybe waiting for that delayed flight to arrive from the airport... I am talking about the days pre-9/11, when you could go up to the gate and wait, grumble with the other people waiting to meet up with their family, friends!

Byron's Drive-In was a sort of way station. It was familiar, tough in a welcoming way and always open. It was always open.

It's going to be different for the next time pick up somebody from the airport and they're not going to say, "Eh, Byron's Drive-In! They still open. Wow, I remember I used to go there when I was..."
