Until last year, I was a huge scary movie fan! I have enjoyed thrillers like "Paranormal" and gory movies that included "Hostel" and all of the "SAW"-series.
These days, I scare easily hahaha! I tried to narrow down the ones that are easy to find though not for all ages...
#5: "House of a 1000 Corpses"...confirmed how certain clowns can be scream-tastic!
#4: "The Changeling"...happily, I don't have stairs in my house!
#3: "Halloween"...Jamie Lee Curtis' "scream queen" debut (yes! Her mom, Janet Leigh, was the woman in the shower scene in Hitchcock's "Psycho"!)
#2: "Rosemary's Baby"...it may be too much for some, even nowadays! It's deception, greed and false idols ...whoa!
#1: "The Shining"...house sitting got such a bad rap from this one ;)
...THESE days, like I said, I am much more into fa-la-la-la!, pixie dust and laughs! With less of the scare-tactics, my Top 5 FUN Halloween-inspired movies are:
#5 "Monsters, Inc"...laughter CAN power the world!
#4 "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"...where my crush on Mr. Wilder began!
#3 "The Wizard of Oz"...flying monkeys and ruby slippers are so fun!
#2 "Beetlejuice"...Can you believe the couple who first lived there was played by Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis? Awesome!
#1 "Young Frankenstein"...Favorite comedy of all time. Silly and really gets me giggly. Maybe my soul is a few years older ;)
