Actress, director, humanitarian Angelina Jolie's Op-Ed piece in the New York Times this week was smart, plain spoken and touching.
One of the many messages I got was that equipping one's self with the correct information only helps us and is meant to heal us... It is scary to consider that your body could betray you and it is okay to feel vulnerable. Surround yourself with family and supportive friends, beginning now!
While you are healthy, happy and able to share the You that is loved...be willing to surround yourself with family and supportive friends when life declines (trust! we are ALL heading there!) and it could be a grateful journey for all...
Thank you for sending in your requests... in case I can't get them on the air, here's a quick fix :)

A nearby lake has come up and over the embankment and creepily expanding across lawns. I type, "creepy" because it is frozen and with each movement, the ice slivers are mesmorizing and otherworldly!:
When was the last time you took in "The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon"? Great fun at every turn and I think a great fit for "The Tonight Show" when Jay Leno steps out in 2014.
Mr. Fallon is surrounded by a staff of good writers, a kick butt house band (The Roots, 'nuff said) and many of the celebrities who visit are game for just about anything suggested! Here's a recent bit with "The Office"'s John Krasinski, taking Lip Syncing next level:
Current SNL "Weekend Update" anchor Seth Meyers was officially tapped to take on Fallon's "Late Show" next year. Mr. Meyers is easy going, cheeky and quick on his feet though not so much to alienate the room...though I would continue to read current events so everything that spills forth can be gobbled up ;)
Any movie project sounds promising with George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. This is edge of your seat action, a movie called "Gravity".
You see their faces behind clear masks as they are astronauts some 350-plus miles above Earth and then...

Next Thursday, "The Office" signs off after eight...nine!...pretty great seasons! I liked the bromances, the ridiculous situations and the couplings :)
I was so happy when Michael found his soul mate in Holly:
Jim and Pam became "Jam":
Then there was Ryan and Kelly (hahaha):
A red carpet event had interviews with many of "The Office" cast, teasing what fans of the show can expect:
