A man posted a rant on a Maxipad company's Facebook wall, calling out the brand for false advertising.
He said that his girlfriend doesn't have happy periods like those shown in the ads, but instead becomes "the little girl from the exorcist with added venom and extra 360 degree head spin."
The post got more than 84,000 likes, so the company responded with a video where they "confessed" to lying.
On the video, the company's CEO said, "I think it's time we came clean. We lied to you, Richard, and I want to say sorry. … Sorry."
She then went on to explain why they used imagery in their ads, instead of showing the truth.
