Critics are saying the new Disney Princess doesn't look Hispanic enough to be considered "Disney's First Latina Princess".
Disney is adding a Latina princess to its list of characters, but their producers have chosen to take a low-key approach to the character's race.
The new princess is named Sofia, and she'll make her TV debut on November 18th.
So far, the news has sparked some positive reactions on Twitter, but others complained about Sofia's appearance because she has a light complexion, blue eyes and auburn hair.
One twitter user wrote, "Disappointment: Disney unveils firstLatinaprincess who DOESN'T look like the vast majority of Latinas."
Another wrote, "Is it me, or does Disney's first Latina princess look... white?"
The upcoming Disney Channel TV movie is called "Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" and tells the story of her entry into a royal family.
